Made a mime!

After finishing a long contract I thought it would be nice to take some time off and work on my own little project, and attempt to kill two birds with one stone. So here is the fruits of my labour, a mime. Though this is my first mime, it is also my first attempt to animate in Photoshop and my first attempt to use smears in my animations. I still have a long way to go, but I'm pretty chuffed that I got it to move as me and Photoshop are not the best of friends.

Below are the two tutorials that I used to help me figure out how to find the animation timeline in photoshop! Great tutorials, wonderful that Charles Huettner, Caleb Wood and Alex Grigg would take the time to provide this service. True gentlemen on animation.

Also I made a Gif of it. It's my first gif too!

Penguin Bar Jokes v02

Before I started back at work I thought I'd do one more of these little animations, so I could refresh me memory. Not the best but you know it moves so that's nice.

So having not animated for at all over the christmas period (slap my wrists!) I thought I best do something to get myself warmed up. So here it is, another edition of the penguin bar jokes.

The Good Life!

So not having internet over the festive period has been a frustrating thing, but now yays I can update with the project I finished before Christmas. Another yay for me, one of my scenes is the hold frame on Vimeo! Anyhoo, checking out my stripping owl scenes, flying birds, and juice drinks animals! This Holland and Barrett as always was produced by the lovely Mel Venet at Picasso Pictures, directed by Steve Lenton and animated by Linda Kalcov, Sarah Roper and myself, and comped by Shelley Revill.
